Up for your consideration is a very good amethyst vertical rib salt shaker with chrome top. Adding manganese oxide to a molten glass mixture of sand, potash and lime was often done in the early 1900s to make clear glass. When exposed to sun light it will turn a violet amethyst color. These old piece are lovely to collect and display for your friends or give as a gift.

CONDITION: This piece comes to you very good antique condition with a little no see roughness on the inside top rim and a flake on the inside of the top with light salt residue.
